Název anglicky / Title English: Heavy flavor physics at STAR

Osnova / Outline:

The principal objective of the thesis is to study heavy flavor production in STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC) at Brookhaven National Laboratory and prepare prediction for EIC collider.
The goal of the project is to perform measurements of the heavy flavor production in proton-proton collisions using hadronic decays. The aim of the thesis is to prepare ultimate reference for heavy-ion measurements. The methods of machine learning will be used to extract charm mesons signals.
